Magnetic resonance imaging & magnetic resonance angiography

At Open MRI of Wall, we understand that some people may be nervous about having an imaging exam performed. That’s why we do everything possible to make sure your experience is as simple and comfortable as possible -- from start to finish. Whether it’s explaining each exam, or providing headphones and music during certain studies, we will do everything we can to make your experience with us a positive one.

High-Field MRI: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a technique that uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of organs and tissues within the body. MRI has the benefit of serving a wide range of diagnostic purposes without the use of ionizing radiation. This technique is especially useful in the examination of orthopedic and joint conditions, as well as sports-related injuries and disc herniations in the neck and back. We can also perform whole-body MRA, MRCP and brain diffusion scanning.

High-Field Open MRI: Patients can now get the best of both worlds, as our Open MRI imaging combines all the strength of a high-field MRI with the spacious comfort of an open design.

Our Open MRI provides the same incredible diagnostic imaging capabilities as a closed MRI, but its wide open design is ideal for patients who are a bit larger, claustrophobic or anxious about their scan. With state-of-the-art motion correction technology, it is also the ideal choice for pediatric patients.

MR Angiography: Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a minimally invasive exam used to examine blood vessels anywhere in the body. In some cases, a contrast material may be necessary to produce images of major blood vessels. MRA is commonly used to screen people for arterial disease and may also be used as part of the planning process for surgical operations, such as carotid artery or aneurysm surgery.
